Unity Through Knowledge Fund Granted HRK 3.7 million to Young Researchers and Professionals Projects
Unity through Knowledge Fund has granted 3.7 million HRK to young researchers and professionals for research projects.
At the end of September 2009, UKF has launched 10 new projects within Young Researchers and Professionals Programme. In the next two years for the projects approved within this call for proposals will be paid 3.7 million HRK. Apart from providing young researchers with an opportunity to lead their research programs for the first time autonomously, this program also facilitates their permanent cooperation with foreign institutions and industries, which will attract additional financing both from international sources and from the industry.
A total of 52 project proposals were submitted and after two evaluation rounds, carried out with the help of 50 independent and anonymous evaluators (more than 50 % of foreign evaluators), ten projects have been finally selected. The approval rate in this call for proposals amounted to 19%.
