Research Cooperability Program supports medium-scale collaborative research projects in Croatia with involvement of scientific and research Croatian Diaspora.
The program goal: To attract promising research projects to Croatian companies and institutions together with international/private financing, their accompanying knowledge, technologies and potential research results.
Objective of the "Crossing Borders" Grant: To foster scientific collaboration between expatriate Croatians (scientists and professionals) and Croatian scientific public institutions and R&D companies. It aims at experienced researchers living and working in Croatia from both industrial and academic sectors who want to develop their productivity and participate in bigger, international project through partner abroad (Diaspora).
Eligible candidates: a) The outstanding experienced Croatian or foreign researchers and experts living and working in Croatia who want to initiate and establish cooperation with an outstanding researcher of Croatian nationality or origin who has built career and works abroad; b) The outstanding experienced researchers and experts of Croatian nationality or origin living abroad, who want to initiate and establish cooperation with the partners from Croatia
Maximum award: 1 500 000 HRK

Supporting documentation for project proposals recommended for financing:
For every project proposal recommended for financing, the applicant will be obliged, during the negotiations, to prove that their project is in accordance with "Environmental Management Framework", which is the condition for financing.
Document "Environmental Management Framework" are guidelines which set the environmental screening categories of the projects. Applicants will be obliged to fulfill the Environmetal Screenning Form (Annex A - Environmetal anagement Framework).
Contract forms for projects financed by UKF
The Grant Agreement and Colaboration Agreement will be signed with the projects which are awarded the UKF Grant. The Colaboration Agreement also regulate the Intelectual Property Rights.
